Came here with some friends on a whim while we were in the area. The ambiance and aesthetic were amazing — it was cool, sleek, there was a unique animated mural on the wall. The food itself was good. The sotbap seemed perfect for one person — very large but with lots of side dishes to add variety to each bite. If ordering things from the wok, I think it would be best to come here with friends and split, since most of the dishes are too big and monotonous for one person. We got teokbokki for the table, which was absolutely delicious. It had quail eggs and fish cakes too, and was a little bit sweet which I really liked. I got the fried rice, which was HUGE and definitely meant to be split. My partner got the jjajangmyeon, which he really enjoyed. The service was friendly but very slow, especially considering the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived. Still, the vibes were pleasant and warm. If I was in the area again I would definitely come back here to try the sotbap, which my friend got and it looked absolutely delicious.

This is my favorite place to go to in Providence! I almost want to keep it a secret. The food and service are unmatched. My grandmom spilled something on her shirt (as she always does), and another service noticed from a far and helped her clean the spot on her white shirt. Love this place!

First time at SOTT and it won’t be the last! Went with two friends and we loved the menu—lots of sake options and plenty of dishes to share. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and our table had a great street view right in downtown Providence. The food was excellent—full of flavor and huge portions, perfect for sharing with friends or family. The vibe was lowkey and chill, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

On my recent trip to Rhode Island, I stopped by Sott and their food was closely on par with what I had in Korea. They even have a Life4Cuts style photo booth INSIDE the restaurant. We couldn’t resist jumping in for pics right after our feast. Shoutout to the servers. They were super friendly and attentive! *Korean Crudo $20 This crudo was absolutely perfect for a warm day. It came generously loaded with salmon, hamachi, ikura, and masago, drizzled with a bright, tangy sauce. I loved wrapping the raw fish in the seaweed they provided. Undoubtedly my favorite dish of the meal. *LA Galbi $29 The korean grilled meat came with rice, lettuce wraps, and assorted banchan, just like a proper kbbq experience. The galbi was smoky, slightly sweet, and juicy. It was delicious with white rice or wrapped in lettuce (we even asked for extra lettuce). *Salmon Sotbap $26 One of their signature dishes is sotbap (솥밥)—a traditional Korean pot rice dish where rice is cooked in a hot metal pot and topped with your choice of toppings like short ribs, bulgogi, salmon, oysters, or veggies. They even provided a helpful instruction sheet outlining two ways to enjoy it: (1) Transfer the rice to a separate bowl and mix it with sauces and banchan. (2) Pour barley tea into the pot with the crispy rice at the bottom, cover it with the lid, and let it soak. I personally preferred the first method. It was such a fun experience to enjoy sotbap outside of Korea. *White Mountain $15 *Green Grape Makgeoli $14 *Yuzu Refresher $7 If you enjoy cocktails with a mild alcoholic taste like I do, their drinks are a great choice. The green grape korean rice wine was sweet and creamy, while the White Mountain had a very subtle sake flavor and was garnished with lychee.

Really high quality food options. Reasonable pricing. The soup pots and rice pots are both amazing things to try. Also love the rice wines.

Came to visit Providence last week, and this was the first spot I stopped by. The servers were super friendly and really helpful with answering all of our questions. The food took a little while to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait—delicious dishes and a great vibe overall. They even have a photo booth for fun pictures, but make sure you’re ready before hitting start! Would come back again!

Gamja hotpot: This was good! The soup was pretty flavorful with just the right amount of heat. All the vegetables were tasty, but the pork neck bone needed a bit more time to warm up and truly soak in the soup. Cumin lamb: I wouldn't recommend this. It was a bit too spicy and didn't have many pieces of lamb.

Definitely worth the drive from Boston! The best jambbong and jjajangmyeon in MA and RI. Yurinki was so refreshing, crispy and moist at the same time! These three are a must-try. Also, the owner was very kind.
